Terms of Use — Sougya

These terms govern your use of the Sougya platform (sougya.com and app.sougya.com). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them.

1. Definitions

Platform: the Sougya service for creating and managing online stores.
Seller: any natural or legal person who creates a store on the platform.
Customer: anyone who browses a store or orders from it.

2. Account

The information you provide when signing up must be accurate and up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
You may not create an account in someone else's name or impersonate an existing store.

3. Seller responsibilities

The seller alone is the vendor and is responsible for their products, descriptions, prices and availability, as well as delivery and after-sales service.
The seller complies with applicable Algerian law, in particular Law No. 18-05 on electronic commerce, and holds the registration or card required for their activity.
The seller uses customer data only to fulfil their orders.

4. Prohibited products

You may not list or sell anything prohibited by law, including: medicines and products requiring a licence, weapons, counterfeit or smuggled goods, indecent content, and anything that infringes the rights of others. Sougya may hide any product or suspend any store that breaches this section.

5. Subscriptions and pricing

Plans and prices are shown on the Pricing page. Prices may change; sellers are notified of any change before it applies to their subscription.

6. Intellectual property

The platform, its design and its logo remain the property of Sougya. Store content (photos, descriptions, logo) remains the property of the seller, who grants Sougya the right to display it on the platform solely to operate their store.

7. Limitation of liability

We do our best to keep the platform available and secure, but cannot guarantee it will be entirely free of faults. Sougya is not a party to the sale between a seller and their customer and is not responsible for disputes arising from it.

8. Account suspension

You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time through the Contact page. Sougya may suspend any account that breaches these terms after notifying its holder, except in serious cases.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will announce significant changes on this page. These terms are governed by Algerian law.
